The MASTT group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Slaithwaite Community Centre to discuss and decide issues for that month. At 8.15pm the floor is open for new members to discuss their interests and for them to see the subgroups they may like to join.
Everyone is welcome to attend and there is no pressure for you to get involved straight away if you don't want to.

Marsden and Slaithwaite Transition Towns (MASTT) will be planting the final 18 fruit trees at the Rotcher Community Orchard site this Saturday (13th February) and are looking for volunteers to help between 9.30 and 3pm.
Please wear warm clothes\, waterproofs (depending upon the weather)\, stout footwear and bring something to drink. If you have a spade you can bring\, that would be very helpful.
Directions\: Meet at the Rotcher Picnic Site (at the end of Rotcher Lane in Slaithwaite) Car Park at 9.30\, or if later at the Orchard site itself. To get to the orchard walk from the car park\, through the picnic area and follow the path into the woodland area beyond. The orchard site is one of the meadows on the hillside on the right after the end of the picnic area. You can't miss the wood frames that will protect the orchard trees.
