Seedy Sunday - Seed Swap

Parochial Hall, Marsden, 11am - 1pm

MASTT’s annual swap of all things seedy. Bring along seeds or seedlings to swap with others and multiply what you’ll be growing in 2010.

If you haven't grown before and would like to find out how to start, why not come along and pick up some information and have a chat.

Local growers will be on hand to give advice and encouragement over a cup of tea – what a perfect start to your Sunday!

After the Seed swap it’s time to get your hands dirty! These three green gatherings will follow the spring to summer growing season showing you how to plant seeds, look after young plants and make sure the vegetables survive to provide a great harvest.

Established gardeners are also very welcome to drop by to swap seeds, plants and join in the garden chat over coffee and home made cakes.

This first session will look at planting and bringing on seeds, getting potatoes started, designing beds, rotations and planting systems - from window box to large garden scales.
