Scything Festival

The grass will be high and the living easy so why not come on down for a cutting
edge weekend of hay making and high jinks! Have a go at this ancient art,
learn how to make a haystack, marvel as the grim reaper plies his trade.
Experienced scythers will be on hand to teach you .
Come for a few hours, a day or the whole weekend.
Camping at the farm, evening bonfire party and music.
You don’t need a scythe, but if you have one, bring it along.

What to bring: Food/drink to share, stout shoes, tent,musical instrument, outdoor games.

Cost: £10 to cover cost of tuition. Snacks/homemade refreshments available to buy on the day.
