The purpose of green building is to reduce the impact of housing on the environment. The impact of housing on the environment has become more popular recently as people start to look further into the future when developing a property. Issues such as energy use, water consumption, types of materials used to build the house are a few main issues considered when building one of these homes. These considerations can benefit the environment and save people money over its lifetime.
