Then you have a look around to see what's around you. You can use it to network, make friends, learn new skills and teach others, borrow tools, swap veg or seeds, find someone with a empty jars or spare fruit for your jam making etc. Basically everything you need to start building a sustainable community. Also a good site as you can easily message everyone in your area for upcoming events etc.

Re: Craft is a new art and craft group for adults of all ages to try
their hand at new skills, or recall old ones, in a relaxed and friendly
space. The group meets on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm (term-time) at Bates
Mill in Huddersfield. Sessions range from jewellery making, to sewing,
painting and more. Each session costs £2 and includes materials, there
is always plenty of chat and a cuppa on offer. Please get in touch for
