Collective Genius off to a flyer!

The first Collective Genius monthly get together went very well, with really interesting ideas shared amongst the group. Here are just a few:

• A fledgling car share is now in the process of being set up
• Information on efficient stoves and unusual fuel was shared
• The idea of ‘slow clothes’ was explained
• Lots of people discussed local food and ways of promoting it.
• The idea of land share was discussed
• Plastic bag free Marsden and Slaithwaite was suggested
• A LETS scheme was proposed
• Several people expressed a keenness for and an expertise in community engagement
• Colne Valley hydro power was enthused about.

And that wasn’t anywhere near all that was discussed!
