Ethical Fashion Show

Wish you could look good whilst still caring for the environment?

Well MASTT (our Arts & Craft subgroup) and M.Y.A.C. are going to
be joining forces to organise an Ethical Fashion Show. Our plan is to
organise a fashion show using charity shop clothes to show people how
they can look good, support local charity shops and reduce their impact
on the environment!

If this sounds like something you'd like to get involved
with, please come along to our meetings in the New Inn, Marsden.

Our first meeting took place on Monday 15th June and was well attended. Representatives from the Kirkwood Hospice shop in Slaithwaite came along to show their support and find out how they could help. Thank you to everyone who came and contributed their ideas.

We are looking for any art or fashion students who may like to get involved with putting together outfits from clothes obtained from the 3 charity shops in Marsden and Slaithwaite. Please send us an email if you would like to take part.
