Anyone doing anything on this currently?
I know someone in Brighton who has set up a very successful project, and I'm sure we could replicate (to some degree at least) in the Colne Valley.
Where does all the green waste go currently?
Anyone interested? Any data?
I have approached my neighbours and they are collecting their veg waste for me. How does the Brighton project work? F
Is this it?

Yes, this is it. If ever you are down that way the Stanmer Organics site is certainly worth a visit. Very inspiring.
And Jon Walker, who runs the Community Composting centre, is an inspiring fellow.

I quote fancy doing something similar up here.
Went to CAT last week and they suggested a biogas plant!!!! like in Ludlow:

They also gave me a leaflet about their rocket composter which would be ideal for the kind of project I think we're really talking about, I can't find it on line though.

Definitely interested. There must be so much good composting material going to landfill. The parks have heaps of grass cuttings for a start - I'm raking up the hill top park for our compost heap - trying to avoid the dog poo in it tho ;-) F
