Hi-tech Hitching

 

A fellow transitioner Pete has some really interesting ideas for integrating gps, mobile phone technology and car sharing. We'd like to get this going as a work group for those interested in transport issues. I mentioned this to some New Zealand based TT members and they sent me this interesting link to some existing hi-tech hitching ideas. that I'm coordinating as part of the current web development project for the Transition Network.

Although it's not directly web-related, the difference between web and mobile is minimal these days, and getting smaller every day.
