Small Blessings

Too often life is spent rushing from one task to another, many times while worrying about yet other tasks that need attention. I've had a stay at home holiday this week. Nice lazy time, catching up on some reading, playing on the computer, extra cooking time, afternoon naps......I really enjoy all these things.  But this morning I got a special bonus, a morning without clouds. I spent my first cuppa coffee time sitting by the window in my back bedroom, looking to the east, watching the sky change colours through the tree skeletons in my back yard. In twenty minutes I felt more calm than after an hour long massage, and all it cost was taking the time to enjoy the moment.
