I love the idea of the clothes swap and think that maybe it could be opened up more.
it relies on people bringing something but it is also a great evening out (well tiff is the hostess who know how to run a event)
I haven't managed to get there as I dropped mine off at the charity shop and missed the evening.
maybe you could connect with the local charity shops?
also when you have a clothes swap let people know they can still come and maybe offer clothes to sell (maybe things from the charity shop?)
I hope that everything you all do goes from strength to strenght as you all work hard and the above is just a few ideas that may help.
thanks for reading.

Hey Jenni, thanks for your forum posting.
I think it could be good to work closer with charity shops but I'm not sure how it would work - the clothing swap group don't agree with selling things at the clothes swaps because it goes against the principle of swapping items (we also want these to events to also attract people who can't afford to buy new things).
I think it's worth speaking to someone from a charity shop about how we could link in with them, perhaps sam or david from Kirkwood Hospice?
I hope you're saving up your clothes to bring to the next swap, sometime in Spring. Also volunteers are always needed to help organise, promote and run these events, so just get in touch if you want to help out.
