Hello and welcome to the Arts, Crafts and Culture subgroup page for MASTT.

This subgroup was formed in April 2009 through the organisation of our Ethical Fashion Show in November 2009. We have also organised wonderfully fun Clothes Swaps in Summer 2010, Winter 2010, June 2011 and our next swap will be Winter 2011.

The Culture part of the subgroup involves organising film screenings and music events - so there is a little bit of something for everyone. Also let us know if you have an idea for a film you think we should show and we'll see what we can do.

We have a few ideas for projects we would like to develop over the next 12 months (such as Make, Do and Mend workshops or drop-ins), but if you have any of your own interesting and creatives ideas just let us know! Don't be shy - we might be able to help you make it happen!

VOLUNTEERS WANTED -
We're looking for some lovely ladies to help us organise the next clothes swap - which will be taking place November/December 2011. Even if you have no previous experience of organising an event, you're welcome to get involved!
Our events are famous for being a great night out for guilt-free shopping without spending a fortune! Just £3, the cost of a ticket, which includes a free drink and nibbles.

So get intouch if you're interested in helping out on the night and help to organise the event (volunteers get to take part in the swap for free!).
