The Handmade Bakery and MASTT
The Handmade Bakery and MASTT
The Handmade Bakery is a fantastic co-operative based in Slaithwaite that specialises in ‘traditionally crafted, slowly fermented bread with no hidden additives’. Dan who co-founded the bakery was also one of the founding members of MASTT in 2007. The Transition Town principles that MASTT follows also inspired Dan and his partner to set up The Handmade Bakery and the bakery has been going from strength to strength ever since.
MASTT proudly support this co-operative and we happily carry out joint activities with the bakery, including the Colne Valley Food Festival.
